Saturday Mish Mash

Well, what a day Saturday was. I wanted to go into work early so that I could get finished early, this didn't happen and I only just managed to get to work on time. Work wasn't too bad though and with a bit of running I managed to get finished early enough to get to the pub in time to watch the start of Aston Villa versus Chelsea match. What a match it was as well Villa opened well and should have had a penalty before Chelsea scored with a speculative shot, but Villa hit back with two great headers to win the match, hope that shut the commentators up who kept going on about Chelsea not losing when they go ahead in matches.
Aston looked great sat in her Villa shirt right in front of the tele watching the horse racing, she is either going to be a gambler or jockey I think when she gets older.

We went swimming afterwards and in hindsight I don't think drinking 3 pints of Boddingtons was a good preparation for it. Once again Evesham main pool wasn't too warm but it was still a lot warmer than the changing room area which was uncomfortably cold. I will give it one more try and if it doesn't improve I will start going elsewhere.However the kids enjoyed it and are getting more confident.

Claire decided she wanted to go to her parents but I didn't fancy so stayed at home planning to do a load of work on our web sites and some housework. Had Haddock and chips for tea, I was really looking forward to it but it was a bit of a disappointment and I ended up leaving some.

Do you think the planned work happened? You guessed right I fell asleep and woke up just before Claire came home. Haven't stopped eating and watching rubbish on TV since then.

Oh well better go to bed in a minute otherwise I wont get much sleep before the kids wake up.
