Rule Britannia
I have always said that I am English first and British second but the last couple of months with the Queens' Jubillee celebration, her Birthday parade, The Olympic Games and next weeks Paralympic Games have shown what a great nation we have and how good it feels to be proud to be British.
It makes a refreshing change for the press and commentators to show their jingoism whilst talking about the British achievements rather than be staid and almost embarassed.
It is good to see the Union Flag flying in so many places without any dogooder ssaying that we shouldn't in case that we upset anybody.
Messers Cameron and Clegg please take note and build on the the feelings and achievements of the British people and continue to make us a great nation once more.
